Start-up PACS developer Singular Medical Technologies (SMT) has appointed a new chief executive officer (CEO) and vice president of strategy.
Gregory Burnell will serve as CEO; he is a 30-year industry veteran with a background in business operations, finance, and sales, SMT said.
David Logan will serve as vice president of strategy. In 1995, his Bay Networks company helped create one of the first high-speed network PACS systems for Duke University Hospital, according to the firm.
SMT develops single- and multi-PACS for hospitals, imaging centers, and radiology groups.
