Carestream Health said it has joined the Intel Storage Builders program, an initiative that aims to foster innovation in cloud technology to drive the use of new cloud-ready storage options.
The two companies are collaborating to ensure that storage technology for enterprise imaging and information platforms can be deployed in secure clouds or in onsite data centers, Carestream said. Carestream currently manages more than 15 billion images worldwide in 13 public and private cloud data centers.
