Teleradiology services firm Virtual Radiologic (vRad) announced the recipients of its 2016 Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) Radiology Summit scholarships.
This is the fifth year vRad has partnered with RBMA to provide a total of $9,000 in scholarships to advance radiology management education.
Individual $1,500 scholarships were awarded to the following recipients, who will attend the RBMA Radiology Summit being held April 24-27 in Colorado Springs, CO:
- Stephanie Dybul, division administrator for vascular and interventional radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee
- Tiffani Mauro, a healthcare management professional with nearly 20 years of industry experience
- Dori Smeltzer, director of ancillary services for the Iowa Clinic, based in Des Moines
The firm will award two additional $1,500 scholarships to RBMA members attending the 2016 Fall Education Conference at the end of September in New Orleans. More information about the vRad RBMA scholarships, including how to apply for remaining 2016 scholarships, is available at www.rbma.org/vrad.
