PACS firm Intelerad Medical Systems has received an order from Imagix Medical Imaging in Brossard, Quebec, Canada.
The imaging group will implement Intelerad's IntelePACS software at its 13 radiology clinics, according to the vendor. In addition, Imagix will use Intelerad software to connect to the province's central patient information repository, the Quebec Health Record (QHR).
Five Imagix radiology clinics have already integrated with the QHR, with the remaining eight to be added by June, Intelerad said. Once all 13 sites are integrated with the repository, Imagix will contribute approximately 540,000 imaging exams and reports each year.
