Printing firm and software developer Lexmark International has rolled out several new software products for enterprise imaging and enterprise content management (ECM).
PACS Redefined is a modular suite of software and services designed to free healthcare delivery organizations from being tied to a particular vendor, Lexmark said. It is also intended to streamline image sharing and access throughout the enterprise and can image-enable an electronic health record (EHR) or other core clinical system. PACS Redefined features Lexmark's vendor-neutral archive (VNA), NilRead interpretation enterprise viewer, and Clario worklist management software.
Lexmark is also offering Mobile for Healthcare Solutions, which is designed for the secure transfer of photographs and clinical images captured on iOS devices to a central PACS, VNA, or EHR repository. Finally, ECM for Healthcare Point-of-Care Capture is designed to optimize workflow on the hospital floor.
Lexmark has also partnered with Microsoft to outline best practices for the Microsoft Azure deployment of the company's Acuo VNA in a hybrid deployment model managed by customers.
