The RSNA has chosen data management firm Mach7 Technologies to participate in its Image Share Validation pilot program.
The Image Share Validation program is funded by the National Institute for Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering (NIBIB) and administered by the RSNA. It was created to allow radiologists to share medical images with patients using personal health record accounts, according to the RSNA.
In the meantime, Mach7 said it plans to highlight its enterprise image-sharing software at the upcoming Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) meeting in Portland, OR.
