RIS and PACS vendor Image Information Systems plans to introduce a new version of its Med-Tab DICOM-calibrated tablet for medical image analysis.
Version 2 will feature a faster processor and a sleeker build; the use of lighter material has reduced the weight and thickness of the tablet, Image Information Systems said.
The company said it will also include an additional cleaning cloth for the screen. Version 2 of Med-Tab is expected to be ready for release by the 2016 RSNA meeting in Chicago.
