Image management firm Purview has introduced Publisher, a CD burning package for medical images.
Publisher features the ability to print proprietary quick response (QR) codes directly onto CDs, making it easier for patients to synchronize their imaging studies to their health records, Purview said. As a result, patients can receive a physical hard copy of their imaging studies as well as gain mobile access for viewing, sharing, and coordinating their records, according to the vendor.
Publisher also integrates with Purview's Viva flagship software, which provides physicians with cloud-based access to DICOM images, Purview said.
