Display calibration firm Qubyx Software Technologies has received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for a version of its PerfectLum calibration and quality assurance software that's bundled with Dell's UltraSharp UP3216Q monitor.
Suitable for review and analysis of medical images, UP3216Q is a 31.5-inch, 8-megapixel monitor with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, Qubyx said. It offers a typical brightness of 300 cd/m2 and features in-plane switching panel technology, according to the firm. The monitor and software bundle will cost $1,680.
