The global market for PACS and RIS software will reach $3.9 billion by 2024, up from $2.2 billion in 2015, according to a new report from Transparency Market Research.
The market is projected to grow at a compound annual rate of 7.2% between 2016 and 2024, the company said.
In 2015, North America held the leading share with 47% in the global market, but the Asia-Pacific region is poised to expand at a higher rate of 8.4% annually during the forecast period, according to the firm.
