Dicom Systems has received a patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for radiological data processing within its Workflow Unifier PACS framework.
The now-patented technology is designed to create various adapters and workflows to enhance and integrate any enterprise imaging software or platform without extensive development cycles.
The Workflow Unifier framework targets PACS administrators, system integrators, healthcare IT staff, and clinical users to improve processes by integrating different platforms into one enterprise, the company said.
Dicom Systems plans to show Workflow Unifier at RSNA 2016.
