Printing firm and software developer Lexmark International has unveiled new software, including an expansion of its PACS with a new electronic health record (EHR) addition.
Lexmark Legacy Data Archive is an application that helps healthcare organizations handle data within legacy systems and provides healthcare organizations with a lower-cost alternative to traditional data migration services, the firm said. It combines Lexmark's Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS) repository with the company's Healthcare Content Management (HCM) viewer.
Lexmark also expanded its PACSGear Image Capture and Connect with a new EHR gateway, a server-side EHR integration application to support multiple DICOM devices. EHR Gateway is designed for departmental use at hospitals to capture DICOM content directly from DICOM devices and make that information available to EHRs in standard formats such as MP4, JPEG, and PDF.
In addition, the firm launched version 4.1 of its NilRead enterprise viewer. Version 4.1 includes enhanced NilRead Interpretation with capabilities for vessel tracing functionality.
