RIS/PACS firm Novarad has been named as a vendor for the RSNA Image Share Validation program.
The program verifies that medical imaging systems are compliant with international standards developed by DICOM and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) for sharing medical images and reports.
Along with the Sequoia Project, the RSNA Image Share Validation program seeks to advance a secure, interoperable nationwide health information exchange by encouraging adoption of greater image-sharing capabilities by both vendors and radiology sites.
