Radiology workflow software developer Avreo has released Avreo Cloud VR, a new software component that enables radiologists to create image interpretations with cloud-based speech technology from any location where they use the company's interWorks package.
Avreo Cloud VR is powered by Nuance Communications and is an optional component in version 7.9 of Avreo's interWorks RIS/PACS software. The enhancement allows the company's customers to access Nuance voice recognition without having to add additional servers or install software on every workstation where radiologists access interWorks.
Avreo Cloud VR uses single sign-on technology that automatically activates within interWorks, enabling radiologists to start using voice recognition immediately.
