PACS vendor ScImage has received a new Digital Imaging Network - PACS (DIN-PACS) IV contract from the U.S. government for its PicomEnterprise PACS offering.
The deal has a potential value of up to $400 million and includes a five-year base period and an additional five-year option period, according to the vendor. ScImage has been providing its PACS technology and services under a DIN-PACS III contract for the past three years, including cardiovascular information system installations at six U.S. military medical centers. ScImage said it has also participated in projects for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the U.S. Air Force School of Medicine, and Indian Health Services.
