Enterprise imaging firm Visage Imaging will preview the next release of its Visage 7 enterprise imaging platform at this month's RSNA 2017 meeting.
Visage 7.1.1 will include more than 150 new features and refinements, according to the vendor. One new software tool, Mini Drop Zone, aims to reduce mouse fatigue by enabling users to drag additional image thumbnails into a small, graphical representation of the current display layout. Mini Drop Zone then reorients the displayed image viewports with the new image series, Visage said. The company expects to release Visage 7.1.1 worldwide in early 2018.
Visage will also showcase Visage 7 Web, a new HTML5-based image viewer intended for users who do not have access to the Visage 7 thin-client application or the Visage Ease/Visage Ease Pro mobile client software. Visage 7 Web can provide diagnostic access to images and results via web browsers, as well as Android-based mobile devices, according to the firm. The viewer is expected to be available by the end of 2017.
