Software testing and quality assurance firm QualiTest Group unveiled the second version of its Virtual Radiology Environment (VRE) PACS testing software at last week's RSNA 2017 meeting in Chicago.
QualiTest said it has added enhanced crowd testing and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to VRE, which is designed to assist vendors in assessing the scalability and reliability of their PACS software. Vendors can use VRE 2.0 to simulate network patterns and data flow in radiology, and the software's AI features can generate extensive volumes of data from limited sets of inputs, according to the company.
