Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas plans to unveil new analytics capabilities for its Exa enterprise imaging platform at next month's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) annual meeting in Las Vegas.
A new dashboard feature allows users to quickly access data such as daily exam volume, studies by type of imaging device and technologist, radiologist performance, and referring physician patterns, according to the vendor. In addition, administrators and department managers can create customized reports.
Another Exa analytics application, Intelligent Patient Scheduler, enables managers to identify gaps in their schedule to maximize asset utilization, Konica Minolta said. The company also said that its Custom Workflow Design Engine offers the ability to define an institution's entire workflow process in a step-by-step manner using drag-and-drop tools.
