Hyland Healthcare, a business unit of content management software developer Hyland, has updated its suite of PACS software applications for archiving images and videos.
With the update, all six of PACSgear's Core 3.6 applications are now capable of storing images and videos directly in OnBase, Hyland's enterprise content and process management software. This includes images and videos captured with various visible light imaging modalities connected to the company's MDR Video Touch (MDR VT) device, as well as those captured using the PACS Scan Mobile iOS application.
The integration of PACSgear and OnBase provides clinicians with a single point of access for patient records, images, and videos, according to Hyland.
