Enterprise imaging firm Visage Imaging has received a seven-year contract for its Visage 7 Open Archive from Catholic health system Mercy.
In a project that began in late June, Visage 7 Open Archive is being implemented across the Mercy health system, which spans four states and is the fifth largest Catholic health system in the U.S., according to the vendor. As part of the deal, more than 25 million diagnostic imaging exams -- encompassing 800 TB -- will be migrated from the current Mercy archive to Visage 7 Open Archive, Visage said. Implementation is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2019.
