PACS provider Sectra has added Trillium Health Partners in Canada and NSW Health in Australia to its customer list.
Under a multi-year contract signed this month, Sectra will be installing its enterprise PACS platform at Trillium's three hospital sites in Mississauga and Toronto. The system will handle approximately 600,000 imaging exams per year, and will be integrated with the institution's enterprise electronic medical record software, according to Sectra.
In addition, Sectra has signed a 13-year contract to provide an enterprise radiology imaging package for NSW Health, Australia's largest public health system. Sectra's platform will be implemented across nine local health districts, as well as the Sydney Children's Hospital Network and NSW Health Pathology's Forensic and Analytical Science Service.
Approximately one billion historical image links are being migrated to the new system, which will manage more than 1.8 million imaging exams annually, Sectra said.
