Medical image-sharing provider Life Image and healthcare IT software developer NextGate have joined forces to optimize the healthcare imaging workflow.
Life Image will incorporate into its Interoperability Suite NextGate's enterprise master patient index, which is designed to consolidate patients' clinical and imaging data. This integration will help clinicians manage patient information and support clinical decision-making across Life Image's network of approximately 1,500 U.S. hospitals and 58,000 clinics worldwide, according to the companies.
