Philips Healthcare has received a contract from the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support in Philadelphia for its Digital Imaging Network -- PACS (DIN-PACS) IV project.
The vendor will provide DIN-PACS products and maintenance under the five-year base contract, which is valued at a maximum of $400 million. The Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies are all parties to the contract, which is expected to be utilized in California and other areas located within and outside the continental U.S., according to the DLA. The deal has a performance completion date of September 12, 2024, but also comes with a five-year option period.
This is the seventh contract awarded for DIN-PACS IV, the DLA said.
