Intelerad Medical Systems is launching new software designed to improve radiologist efficiency, productivity, and job satisfaction by better managing their workflow.
Concierge Workflow manages reading worklists by sorting clinical from nonclinical tasks so radiologists can focus on assignments dependent on their expertise -- saving clinicians time, improving patient care, and bettering the business, according to Intelerad. Nonclinical tasks are identified and assigned to administrative or support staff for execution.
The technology saves each radiologist an average of 5 to 6 minutes per hour, according to Worth Saunders, regional vice president of operations for Radiology Partners and president of Canopy Partners, which have been using the software.
