Life Image and Dicom Systems are partnering on a project in Alaska to bring telehealth and teleradiology to native populations.
Since 2014, the hospital has been using the Unifier software from Dicom Systems to enable the hospital's radiology group to read imaging studies remotely and send reports electronically. The alliance of the two firms at the hospital will improve interoperability and enable new levels of workflow efficiency, according to the companies.
