RIS/PACS vendor eRAD successfully performed a completely virtual go-live installation of its software at Chesapeake Medical Imaging and six of its 13 mid-Atlantic facilities.
The firm's RIS, PACS, speech recognition, and patient and physician portals were deployed at Chesapeake Medical Imaging shortly after nationwide quarantine measures went into effect. eRAD used a Slack channel to communicate with Chesapeake Medical Imaging in real time, teleconferencing to work through any issues, and remote control of the desktop for "eyes-on-the-screen" troubleshooting.
