Healthcare information systems vendor Change Healthcare has signed a two-year deal that makes its enterprise imaging platform available to members of the group purchasing organization Vizient.
Vizient members will have access to Change's platform, including image archiving, analytics, and artificial intelligence orchestration services, as well as its hemodynamic monitoring system, Cardiology Hemo, at discount rates.
In other news, Change updated its financial guidance for the second quarter of fiscal year 2021 to reflect higher-than-anticipated trends in healthcare use affecting technology-enabled services and businesses. These favorable trends are expected to have a positive effect on Change's year-to-date performance, and the vendor continues to assume healthcare use will gradually improve throughout the rest of the fiscal year.
