Archiving services provider InsiteOne has returned to the market with a full set of private and public cloud and supplementary services for image archiving.
Originally formed in 1999 as InSite One, the company offered data migration and backup/disaster recovery capabilities based on data centers at different locations in the U.S. At one point, the company stored almost 4 billion images from 55 million imaging studies and had about 800 customers.
The company was acquired by computer giant Dell in 2011 and was integrated into Dell's healthcare services and life sciences division. The business in 2016 was sold to NTT Data, which added business intelligence and analytics tools to its enterprise imaging offerings.
Under the new deal, clients of NTT Data Services will continue to archive their imaging data under InsiteOne, and the archiving services vendor will service NTT Data's Unified Clinical Architecture tools.
The CEO of InsiteOne is Dave Cook, co-founder and CEO of the original iteration of InSite One.
