PACS vendor RamSoft said that it's now offering a radiology patient engagement application from PatientPal for use with its PowerServer RIS/PACS software.
PatientPal's software is designed to automate the process of digitizing patient paperwork, sending appointment reminders, retrieving and validating insurance preauthorizations, and calculating and collecting the full out-of-pocket amount for imaging practices, according to the vendors.
