ORLANDO - What's the status of healthcare IT in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East? That was the subject of a presentation by Monief Mohamed Ibrahim Eid of the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia at this week's Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2022 meeting.
Eid has attended every HIMSS meeting for the past seven years. In particular, he has drawn value from topics like interoperability and cybersecurity, as well as opportunities for information exchange and networking. He says that healthcare IT specialists in the Middle East face many of the same challenges as those in the U.S.
