Philips Healthcare has introduced a secure remote access management service at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2022 meeting in Orlando, FL.
The service offers security capabilities enabled by the integration of remote access software technology from SecureLink with Philips' remote services framework, Philips said.
Remote services are used to monitor key performance measures for clinical systems and devices, alerting customers of potential issues and fixing them, often remotely, before system or device failures. Integrating with SecureLink allows Philips' remote services portfolio to offer a uniform level of security, visibility, traceability, and audit capability needed for critical access management and data security, according to the firm.
