Display firm JVC Kenwood has introduced a new 8-megapixel color imaging monitor that offers a multimodality diagnosis.
The CL-R813 32-inch TFT (thin-film transistor) LCD display was developed for CT, MRI, and digital radiography. It has a maximum brightness of 500 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 1,000:1, and its sensor system consists of a front sensor and an ambient light sensor.
Also, it features a human sensor that can detect whether someone is in front of the screen, which aims to save energy when the monitor isn't in use. Finally, its uniformity equalizer feature corrects luminance and color uniformity.
