Radiology services provider Radiologix reported record fourth-quarter service-fee revenue of $73.3 million, up 16.1% compared with the $63.2 million posted in the fourth quarter of 2000. Fourth-quarter net income, after extraordinary item, was $5.4 million, compared with a net loss of $8.4 million in the fourth quarter of 2000.
For the year, Radiologix had record service-fee revenue of $276.7 million, up 12.1% compared with the $246.7 million reported in 2000. The Dallas-based vendor had net income, after extraordinary item, of $13.8 million, compared with $4.3 million in 2000. Radiologix reiterated its earnings guidance for 2002.
