Italian x-ray equipment manufacturer Villa Sistemi Medicali has completed the installation of the first x-ray unit of a large order from the Lithuanian Ministry of Health. Under the terms of the November 2001 agreement, Villa Sistemi is supplying x-ray equipment to all major public hospitals in Lithuania.
The firm will be installing 13 Vision R/F tilting systems with VDR 2000 digital acquisition systems, 45 Mercury R/F remote-controlled systems, 13 Moviplan general x-ray rooms, 28 mobile x-ray units, and 13 Arcovis 2000 surgical C-arms at Lithuanian hospitals. The systems will be delivered by April, according to the vendor.
