Siemens Medical Solutions has installed its 10,000th syngo-based system, a Leonardo multimodality workstation, at Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, NC. The syngo platform is a middleware layer that supports applications specific to a particular modality, as well as common applications such as patient registration, viewing, and filming, according to the Malvern, PA-based firm.
