MSN touts 3 new MIPS radiology quality measures

Billing and medical business management firm Management Services Network (MSN) is highlighting three new 2020 Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) radiology quality measures that the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has approved.

The measures were submitted by MSN's Measures Development workgroup, the company said. They include the following:

  • "Screening Coronary Calcium Scoring for Cardiovascular Risk Assessment Including Coronary Artery Calcification Regional Distribution Scoring"
  • "Screening Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Reporting with Recommendations"
  • "Use of Thyroid Imaging Reporting and Data System (TI-RADS) in Final Report to Stratify Thyroid Nodule Risk"
