Siemens, MUSC ink deal

Siemens Medical Solutions and the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston have signed a five-year, $40 million contract.

Under the agreement, Siemens will outfit MUSC's Heart & Vascular Center with technologies such as angiography, digital radiography, CT, MRI, and PET, according to the Malvern, PA-based vendor. MUSC and Siemens will also collaborate on research and development activities.
