Codonics to debut multimedia imager family

Printing firm Codonics will be debuting Horizon, a combined dry film imager, color imager, and grayscale paper printer, at next week's Society of Nuclear Medicine meeting. An automated imager, Horizon does not require operator intervention to shift between color and grayscale printing, according to the Middleburg Heights, OH-based vendor.

Horizon includes three input cassette trays that hold up to 300 sheets of dry film, color paper, or grayscale paper in any combination of sizes, Codonics said. It comes in two flavors.

Capable of handling routine PET studies as well as CT/PET fusion exams, Horizon Ci is a color and grayscale model that prints 14 x 7-inch and 8 x 10-inch film, Codonics said. Horizon Small Format provides color and grayscale imaging for any small-format imaging study, according to the firm.
