Computerized Thermal Imaging, a thermal breast imaging technology developer, has been notified by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration that its BCS 2100 breast imaging system is scheduled for a 2002 October review by a radiological devices panel. The panel will discuss and make recommendations regarding the Lake Oswego, OR-based manufacturer’s pre-market approval application for the product.
In other news, the company said a peer-reviewed article about the BCS 2100 clinical trials has been accepted for publication in the American Journal of Roentgenology. The article is slated to appear in the January 2003 issue.
