Medical device firm Hatch Medical of Atlanta has entered into an agreement with Temecula, CA-based HB Technology to sell Hatch’s core-tissue biopsy instrument. The device includes both fully and semi-automated firing mechanisms and can achieve variable penetration depths of 6 mm to 22 mm. The product, designed for ultrasound- and CT-guided biopsies, has needle gauge options of 20, 16, 18, and 14, according to Hatch.
