Radiological measurement device developer Xemarc (formerly Airball Medical) has introduced a Measurement Calibration Marker (MCM) stand to facilitate patient positioning of the company's MCMs.
The South Glastonbury, CT-based firm said the stand is made of radiolucent materials and is manufactured with either a Xemarc 25-mm or 1-inch MCM permanently attached. The position of the MCM is only limited by the length of the flexible 18-inch radiolucent gooseneck, although custom requests for a gooseneck up to 30 inches in length can be accommodated at no additional charge, Xemarc said.
In addition to the MCM stands, Xemarc is also introducing a 150-mm radiopaque ruler and 4 x 4-inch calibration grid; the new products are manufactured on a flexible, radiolucent material and etched with a radiopaque media.
