Apelem rolls out new table

French radiography and bone densitometry equipment manufacturer Apelem has launched its new remote-controlled table.

The Platinum is available in both conventional and digital radiography configurations and features autopositioning linked to anatomical programs, as well as synchronized simultaneous movements on all axes.

The table also lowers to 48 cm to facilitate patient loading and accommodates all routine examinations with a source-to-image distance of 180 cm. A control console with a touchscreen is designed for simultaneous control of the generator and table movements from the same console.

Apelem, based in Nîmes, France, is the radiology division of DMS Group of Pérols, France.
