Just over a week after the resignation of founder, chairman, and CEO Patrick Kelly, the Jacksonville, FL-based firm announced that Frederick (Gene) Dell has resigned his post as COO of PSS World Medical and CEO of the company’s subsidiary Physician Sales & Service.
Dell’s responsibilities will be assumed by the recently created office of the president, which includes Donald Smith, president of PSS World Medical, and Douglas Harper, president of Physician Sales & Service.
