Medical imaging components and connectivity supplier Analogic has announced that imaging veteran Lothar Koob will join the Peabody, MA-based firm as executive vice president. Koob will report to Analogic's president, Tom Miller, and will oversee various business units after an initial period of familiarization with the firm. He will start shortly after the beginning of 2001, according to the vendor.
Koob most recently served as president and CEO of ophthalmology device manufacturer Humphrey Systems. Prior to that, he spent 24 years at Siemens Medical Systems, including stints as general manager of its MR and ultrasound divisions.
