Three-dimensional software developer Vital Images reported 46% revenue growth in 1999. The Minneapolis-based firm had revenue of $6.6 million for the year, compared with the $4.5 million posted in 1998.
The sales growth didn't dent the firm's net loss, however. The company had a net loss of $3.2 million last year, the same amount it reported in 1998.
In its fourth quarter (end-December 31), Vital Images had revenue of $2 million, a 34% gain compared with the $1.5 million reported in 1998. The company's net loss was $697,000, compared with a net loss of $732,000 last year.
