Imaging services provider Diagnostic Health Services has filed for protection under Chapter 11 of the federal bankruptcy laws in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Dallas.
The filing was necessary to permit the company to continue normal operations while it restructures its operations and balance sheet, according to the Dallas-based firm. DHS provides radiology and cardiology diagnostic services and equipment to healthcare facilities on an in-house or shared basis, according to the firm. It operates in 17 Midwestern, Western, and Southern states.
