Toshiba America Medical Systemshas renewed and expanded a supply agreement to the MHA/MedEcon group purchasing organization. Under the terms of the two-year contract, the more than 700 members of MHA/MedEcon may acquire diagnostic imaging equipment for radiology and cardiology applications.
Ultrasound, vascular x-ray, nuclear medicine, CT, and MRI are included in the agreement. Tustin, CA-based Toshiba and MHA/MedEcon of Florham Park, NJ, have had a relationship for the past 10 years. Toshiba expects the new agreement will generate an estimated $10 million in revenue.
