Philips Medical Systems North America has announced a sole-source agreement with Broadlane, the new purchasing arm of Tenet Healthcare. Under the terms of the deal, Philips will supply the 113 Tenet-owned acute-care hospitals and the 400 affiliated Broadlane members with a full range of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular equipment, according to the Shelton, CT-based firm. A variety of service options will also be available.
