Magnetic source imaging developer 4-D Neuroimaging reported a loss of $3.6 million in its second quarter (end-March 31), on revenues of just $331,000. The San Diego-based firm posted revenues of $2.6 million and a net loss of $875,000 in the second quarter of 1999.
Revenues for the second quarter consisted primarily of equipment and software upgrades and service revenues, compared with primarily systems sales for the same period last year. In a bright spot, the firm's backlog increased to $12.3 million, compared with $2.9 million at this time last year.
