Marconi Medical Systems had added a new service to its Picker Technology Services multi-vendor service program. Called Picker Co-op, the new offering allows hospitals to augment the capabilities of their in-house engineers with Marconi's expertise and advanced technology, according to the Cleveland-based vendor. Picker Co-op provides hospital service engineers with in-depth training on imaging and ancillary equipment from multiple vendors, Marconi said.
Picker Co-op customers also gain access to Marconi's supply of multi-vendor equipment parts. Additional services include backup for in-house staff, and the firm's Advanced Service Technologies package featuring remote equipment monitoring and service analysis, according to Marconi.
